It's been more than 3 years since Jon Pardi released his debut album, Write You a Song, which produced the Top 10 hit "Up All Night. Jon's new work project, California Sunrise, stays true to his traditional sounding roots with bright fiddle, sharp steel & drums. Not synthesized drum loops. Listen for the title track on your favourite station.

In "A Whole Lot More to Me," Craig Morgan sings about those things that he loves, like trucks, tailgates, beer, dirt roads, tractors & worn-out jeans. There are 11 more songs on A Whole Lot More to Me five of which he co-wrote. This is his first studio album in more than four years.

Frankie Ballard certainly receives some high powered song writing help on "El Rio." Chris Stapleton, contributes to a couple of songs & hit makers Chris Janson & Kip Moore also each have co-writing credits on the release. Perhaps most telling inclusion of all, however, is Ballard's cover of Bob Seger's love song, "You'll Accomp'ny Me."

Maren Morris scored a hit out of the box with "My Church," the best of 11 songs on her major label full length debut.   Listen up for her new track 80's Mercedes that is the follow up to My Church . it appears on the new cd "Hero".

Though LeAnn Rimes has been through career highs & lows, she's proven over the years that she's not going to let anyone keep her down. Rimes has announced a new record deal with RCA Label Group UK & she'll be releasing her 16th album this year. Rimes' first single for RCA-UK, "The Story, was originally recorded by Brandi Carlile & was the title track to her 2007 record. "The Story" gained much popularity by its feature on television show Grey's Anatomy in 2007.

Aaron Lewis is releasing a new country album September. He has already released the 1st single off of the album "Sinner"- "This Ain't Country".

The This Crazy Life Tour is a mini festival of the hot new wave of country music featuring Australia's #1 country rock band & CMC's 2016 Group Of The Year, The Wolfe Brothers. Joining them will be Canada's current Male Artist Of The Year, Gord Bamford, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Christine Lamb, Troy Kemp. New Zealand's 2016 Female Artist Of The Year, Jody Direen & Craig Heath.  7 acts from 3 countries all in one night. This indoor mini festival will feature the latest music from a red hot line up of 7 exciting artists who are the new faces & the sound of modern country music. It kicks off Friday 7th October.

Have a great week!

Bob Taylor.
